Bubble Tea Ice Pops

Makes 2-3 popsicles per tea bag

10 minutes preparation, cooling and freezing time.

Basic recipe for your own bubble tea popsicles

  • 1 teabag or ¼ cup loosely packed herbs per ½ cup boiling water

  • 2 tsps. Of liquid sweetener or raw brown sugar

  • ¼ Cup non-dairy milk of choice

Extra items

  • Tapioca balls

  • Fruit

  • Aloe Vera

  • Chocolate

  • Mint leaves

Method

  1. Prepare your tea first, preferably the day before by steeping 1 tea bag or ¼ cup of loosely packed herbs in ½ cup of boiling water and 2 teaspoons of sweetener of choice. If you are using a zoku maker be sure not to use artificial sweetener as your popsicle will not come out of the mould.

  2. Let tea cool and then move to refrigerator to chill for a few hours or overnight.

  3. To make popsicles prepare all ingredients first. If you are using fruit or aloe Vera cut up into small cubes or pieces.

  4. If you want a creamier texture to your popsicle add ¼ cup non-dairy milk to your tea.

  5. Add a small amount of extra items to your popsicle moulds then pour in the bubble tea. If adding a chocolate skirt gentle sprinkle over finely chopped chocolate to the base. Freeze until firm, remove and enjoy!
